Teen Counselling

Adolescent Counselling is a talking therapy which helps resource the young person to cope with stresses such as family break up, bullying, relationships and bereavement. In addition it helps support the adolescent to deal with traumatic events and psychological difficulties including anxiety and depression and to specifically address these issues in ways that are acceptable to the young person. It differs from adult counselling due to the distinct developmental stage and special challenges which the transition process from child to young adult may present. Ages 13 to 18 years.
